I recently had the pleasure of working on this cool Mortal Kombat 1 trailer. Starring Dave Bautista and directed by Tom Kuntz. 
I’ve been a big fan of the Mortal Kombat games since I was a kid, so this was a dream job for me. I was the Art Director on the project at the Prague based VFX studio UPP a.s. As the Art director on the project I created concepts and references for the team of artists on the project, and provided direction for the VFX character powers and the overall look of the VFX on the film. I created the initial VFX treatment for the pitch. I also presented our concepts, look development and reference decks to the client throughout the duration of the project.
